Selena Gomez has just achieved what many celebrities only dream of. Earlier today, she announced a stunning new Vogue cover–her second in the past year.
First starring on the December issue of Vogue Mexico, Sel is now the face of the US publication’s April issue.
Though isn’t her first Vogue cover, it’s without a doubt one of her best. True to the pandemic era norm, Selena was photographed in her own backyard, surrounded by palm trees and lively blooms.
She did the accompanying interview wearing “an oversized Nirvana shirt and black leggings and a ponytail,” but the pop star smashed the glamour button hard for the cover shoot.

Selena embodied that rich auntie aesthetic, gazing at the camera draped in inky feathers and sparkling floral embroidery.
Her makeup was neutral, but elegant (all Rare Beauty, of course) and her hair fell into effortless waves, as though she actually did wake up like this. It’s a level of beauty I will be striving to achieve the rest of my life.
